Privacy Policy

This policy covers two things: this website, darrengallop.com, and Office Hub, a private tool Darren Gallop uses to organise his own email, calendar and contacts.

This website. If you use the contact form, the details you enter (such as your name, email address and message) are used only to reply to you. They are not sold, rented or shared for marketing.

Office Hub. Office Hub is used only by Darren Gallop, with his own Google accounts. It is not offered to the public. When Darren signs in with Google, Office Hub can read his own Gmail messages, Google Calendar events and Google Drive files, and add calendar events, so that he can keep track of his own correspondence, meetings and contacts.

What happens to that information. Information from Google is used only to provide these features to Darren. It is kept on systems he controls and is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone else, except with service providers that host or process it on his behalf (for example, to answer a question he asks an AI assistant). It is not used to train general-purpose AI models.

Office Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account security settings (Third-party apps with account access). Copies of the information are deleted on request.
