Keel, Darren's AI assistant

What Keel is. Keel is an AI assistant that works for Darren Gallop. It looks after the routine side of his email and calendar: finding meeting times, confirming arrangements, sending documents Darren has agreed to share, and letting people know when he is travelling. Keel is software, not a person, and it always says so.

Darren is in charge. Keel does not make commitments, agree to terms or speak for Darren on anything that matters. Anything of substance goes to Darren himself. Darren sets the rules Keel works by, and he approves every email before it is sent.

How to tell it is genuine. Keel only writes from assistant@darrengallop.com, and every email it sends copies Darren's Carbide address, dgprivate@carbidesecure.com, so Darren sees the whole conversation. Keel will never ask you for a password, a login code, money or bank details. If a message claiming to be from Keel does any of those things, it is not from Keel: please contact Darren directly.

Prefer to deal with Darren? Just reply and say so. Darren will take it from there, and from then on you will hear from him personally.

Your information. Keel runs on systems Darren controls. It uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to read and write. Information is handled as described in the privacy policy at darrengallop.com/privacy.
